Reflections in Moonlight

Looking at you in the clear skies,
I applaud how you answer every why.
Each glance feels like a surreal embrace,
Even as you vanish without a trace.

It makes me wonder—
Do you feel sorrow as you fade from sight?
Does it hurt to be hidden, to lose your light?
Do you grieve when stars drift far and wide,
Or when clouds veil you, leaving you to hide?

Then I realize, you are much like us,
A kindred soul settled in the vastness above.
Like you, we too feel unseen,
Pulled down by shadows, our struggles and routine.

But, oh Moon, you teach us to endure,
To reappear brighter, steady, and pure.
Your glow whispers strength to hearts like mine,
A quiet reminder: it’s our time to shine.
